Prelude
Hello World, I am Sophie. I live at Tumbledown House, in beautiful Rutland, with Him (he is lovely) and Her (she is not so lovely).
I have just had a birthday and feel it is time for me to enter the world stage and take my place with super stars and super models. For the next year I intend to let you into my beauty secrets, tell you about my friends, family, hopes and ambitions. Let you know how I feel about the political situation at home and abroad and of course my domestic situation. My thoughts on these topics will fascinate.
Natural superstars at sometimes in their lives require more cash than is readily available, so I intend to publish my memoires. I have seen a beautiful house in a near by village that would suit my purpose, large gardens, apple tree, birds, rabbits, stream at the end etc, etc, you know the sort of thing. ‘Ah, Yes! The Credit Crunch, you will say is a problem,’ but there are always problems in this life, but when one is as beautiful and as clever as La Grande Sophie there is always a way.
