The Weekend Starts Here.
Today as you all will know is Friday. Today is the best day of the week. Because today has arrived, I know He will be home for two whole days. Tomorrow they will have a ‘lay in’ and I will be invited onto the bed. They have a new bed, care of Dreams, very nice. So comfortable; I like very much to reside on it. The problem is; it is very high, so I need help to get up there. She has rules, (yes I know her again) I am not allowed on the bed except for the weekend, for a few short, comfortable moments. This I have manoeuvred, you understand, very easily. If I am invited on to the bed I don’t require them to get up to let me out. These are my rules, and far more effective than any she can devise. The simpler the rule the more powerful it works.
For the past few mornings I have contrived to persuade him to put me on the bed. All forms of fuss have not dulled his steely resolve, or his fear of what she will say if he does. I heard them discussing this very fact this morning. She says he is gullible and that is why ‘I try my tricks on him.’ What he does not know is that his ‘domestic goddess’ as she styles herself, puts me on the bed when she pushes the Dyson around. She thinks I am terrified of it. This of course is all in her mind; it would take more than a Dyson to frighten me.
Which of the two do you think is the most gullible? Have a lovely weekend. I will return on Monday no matter what.

As i’m a boy my one (her) dresses me in a variety of colours but usually blue and sometimes sparkly…You’re a pretty girl why are you wearing a blue name tag and not a pink one??
